For their second album, The Rembrandts looked to build on what they created with their self-titled debut. Still self produced & recorded mostly in their home studios, what really shines though on Untitled are the harmonies. If the first album featured great harmonies by two musicians who've always been at their best together, Untitled showed that they're really in a class by themselves. The opening track, Johnny Have You Seen Her, is a string laiden, winding rocker. Although it did not match the success of Just The Way It Is Baby, 'Johnny' was a minor hit that reached the Top 20 on the rock charts. Another rocker, the sunny Hang On Clementine, took The Rembrandts to the library of all places, looking up poetry from the Old West to finish the tune. Rollin' Down The Hill, which many consider the band's best song ever, would be featured in the hit movie Dumb & Dumber.  But the ballads on Untitled really stand out. The gorgeous Chase The Clouds Away, I'll Come Callin', and In The Back Of Your Mind are among the highlights.
On Untitled, The Rembrandts stuck with what worked, and even took it to a new level. But longtime friends Phil & Danny had no idea of what was yet to come.... next
